Ways to save nomey on college textbooks.

by kellys on July 25th, 2006

Michelle Singletary.jpgBelieve it or not, it’s time to talk about going back to school.  Anybody check out the price of college textbooks lately?  They have gone up tremendously since I have graduated.  Now that I have a little girl, I am wondering how we are going to pay for college in 18 years.  At the rate tuition and books are going, we might have to take out a second mortgage on the house just to send her to a state school.  Or maybe one of us should go to work for the local private college and get a free tuition ride without giving her a choice of where to go.  I have a feeling that won’t go over with my already strong willed child.  Well I have found a great article by a favorite writer of mine, Michelle Singletary, of the Morning Call Online.  She has great ideas on how to save money on textbooks.  I couldn’t buy used textbooks due to my major but I think that is probably the best way to save.  Take a look at the article and le me know what you think.
