Wal-Mart vs Sears portraits are a personal preference.
I love getting my little girl’s picture taken. I have tried Wal-Mart and Sears. Both places gave me great pictures although I have to admit that Sears looked a little better. My problem is that I have lots of relatives that want 5×7’s instead of wallets. So it serves me better to go to Sears and belong to the Smile Savers club. I can get her picture taken every month if I wanted to and only pay $10 when I get them done. That is cheaper than going to Wal-Mart and just getting a discount on my purchase. I am really looking forward to getting her 1 yr pictures done when my mom comes for a visit. I’m going to be in heaven.

You know, I just got some portraits of the baby taken at Wal Mart and I have to say I am a bit disappointed. I have a huge extended family and lots of friends, so I need a lot of pictures. The Wal Mart portraits took 20 days to come in and, when I got them, many of them had ben printed crookedly on the sheet. It’s not a huge angle, but enough to really throw off about 1/2 the pictures.

I just wanted to thank you so much for this post. My mother wants a portrait of all the grandchild and even though I have 2 other sisters and a brother… I know I am the that is going to have to plan it…which it totally fine by me, but my oldest sister who has 3 kids (the rest of us have one) likes to go to Wal Mart and I hate it. I am a Sears girl. I did all the pros and cons both places and lets just say Sears wins big time.
Ya’ll have just reassured me of my standing up for Sears. And they also have the best packages, be that you get all the pics on a CD to take and the pics. become your right. Where most places they will not give you the rights to the pics. Thanks so much.
