Wal-Mart has the Motherload!

by kellys on June 10th, 2008

OK, so I just came back from shopping at Wal-Mart.  I always go back to the baby section to see what is on sale and what did I find? …

So glad you followed me on over to see.  They had their onesies for half price.  The Once Upon a Child brand is changing patterns again so all their onesies are 5 packs for $5.  Now that is a great deal on brand new onesies.  I also saw that they had shirts, some long sleeve, for $1 on up to 4T and nice pants for winter for $2.  So there is something for every size at a great price!  I will have to go back when I have some spending money.  Those white pants with roses on them would look adorable on Turkey Butt.

The store clerk said she just got through marking them down before I got there.  Talk about timing!

i know this is a little off topic but did you know that originally diego (from go, diego,go) had a different voice? i kid you not…i rented a bunch of dora and diego videos the other day (my video store has free kiddie movies). i’m sitting there watching “meet diego” and thinking to myself “what’s wrong with this dvd…something’s not right here”. all of a sudden it hit me…that’s not the voice he uses on the more recent episodes. i posed this question to 4 of the little ones who were watching with me…they were of no help…so i went into another room and watched one of the more recent episodes…YEP…i was right…the original diego was replaced with a much cuter and animated voice.
just wondering if anyone else had picked up in this? and yes, i know i need to find some new interests…lol.

The fact that you are sitting with your kids and spending time is wonderful.

I’ve been a thrift store shopper for years….I wish there were little mini-thrift stores around. My son could follow in my footsteps. I could just drop off my little one and pick him back up few hours later. Affordable and hands-off, sounds good to me!

    Seriously…thanks for the affordable suggestion!

mom_of_14: I think I have noticed the same thing with Max and Ruby. I watched an episode the other day and Ruby’s voice did not sound the same. I’ll have to pay more attention when I watch it again.
