There are so many great places to find thrifty ideas on Thanksgiving decorating without spending a lot of money. I love the fall colors and the shole idea of decorating for the month of November. I will admit, however, that I don’t particularly decorate a lot for Thanksgiving because I put the Christmas tree up on my birthday weekend, the first weekend of December. It takes a lot of effort to decorate for Christmas the right way. I try to decorate as much as I can for Christmas. It is my favorite holiday due to the reason for the season.

But I digress. Let’s get back to Thanksgiving. One of my favorite ways to decorate for Thanksgiving without spending a lot of money is to buy the decorations after Thanksgiving has passed. They are always on sale. But to help you out this holiday season, here is a list of great holiday sites for thrifty Fall/Thanksgiving decorating.

The Thrifty Decorating Blog is a great place to browse for all decorating tips.

Wholesome baby food has a genious idea for a perfect Thankgiving salad bowl that will cost you nothing if you already use fresh pumpkin in your recipes.

About.com is an all around perfect place to find the right smell for your house this Thanksgiving.

Daily Jots, here at b5, reminds us to use what nature gives us in decorating.  That’s free décor!

The New Homemaker has great ideas to spruce up your table.  I am goign to try her suggestion of going to the fabric store and getting some warm colors of fleece, hopefully in remnent form, and make placemats.

Who said you have to spend a million to make yor home look like a million?  Not me …
