Top 10 free kids events for your kids

by kellys on May 9th, 2007

I found a great article on About.com telling all about free or really cheap kid’s events that you can take advantage of this summer.  What great ideas.  I knew about all but the Toy’s R Us In-Store events.  Guess I haven’t paid attention.  I also added some of my favorites as well.

  1. Michael’s Kid’s Club
  2. A.C. Moore Kids’ Crafts
  3. Home Depot Kids Workshops
  4. Lowe’s How-To clinics for kids
  5. Toy’s R Us In-Store Events
  6. Barnes & Nobles Storytime
  7. Your local library has story time every week
  8. Check your local city’s website for free events all summer
  9. Surely there is a park somewhere around.  Kids love it when you spend time with them and play.  Not only is it free but you are the hero of the day!
  10. Don’t forget that summer fairs can be free if you work at it.  There are tons of petting zoos at state fairs and if you take a canned good, usually you can get some free tickets.

So enjoy the upcoming summer and know that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to make your kids happy.
