Top 10 free kids events for your kids
I found a great article on About.com telling all about free or really cheap kid’s events that you can take advantage of this summer. What great ideas. I knew about all but the Toy’s R Us In-Store events. Guess I haven’t paid attention. I also added some of my favorites as well.
- Michael’s Kid’s Club
- A.C. Moore Kids’ Crafts
- Home Depot Kids Workshops
- Lowe’s How-To clinics for kids
- Toy’s R Us In-Store Events
- Barnes & Nobles Storytime
- Your local library has story time every week
- Check your local city’s website for free events all summer
- Surely there is a park somewhere around. Kids love it when you spend time with them and play. Not only is it free but you are the hero of the day!
- Don’t forget that summer fairs can be free if you work at it. There are tons of petting zoos at state fairs and if you take a canned good, usually you can get some free tickets.
So enjoy the upcoming summer and know that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to make your kids happy.

Hi Kelly!
Our library system has family movie nights for free where they show kid-friendly flicks. There are also a ton of local festivals (free!) this time of year.
