Toothpaste from China is to be thrown away
We want you to be safe. So when we hear of news briefs that we think you need to know about, we try to let you know. It has come out that you need to throw away any toothpaste that has been made in China. The FDA is checking all toothpaste that is imported from China for antifreeze ingredients. Ironically, the same ingredient in antifreeze is also used as a thickening agent in toothpaste in China. So before you brush your teeth, check to make sure it wasn’t made in China. So far, Colgate, Aquafresh, and Crest are all calimed to be made in the US so you are ok with those. Just double check for yourself.
Talk to you soon!

I think you would be likely to find toothpaste from China in Big Lots or Dollar Stores. I still shop at these stores but have been much more careful about what I purchase there. I no longer buy toothpaste them, because of the different formulations and strengths of fluoride allowed in foreign toothpaste sold at Dollar Stores. I also won’t buy eye saline for my contacts from their either. I haven’t heard anything, but I don’t want to risk my eyesight- on impure saline. It’s bad enough as is…
