Thursday Cleaning Challenge - Winter is coming… Make a list
Today’s Thursday Cleaning Challenge is a forward thinking challenge of sorts. This week I have gone through my kids’ closets and the clothes I have stored and have figured out what my kids need for winter. Then I made a list of what they will need because we are goingto my MIL’s next weekend and will be shopping with my SIL and MIL at her Once Upon a Child with a 20% off coupon. Shopping doesn’t get any better than a discount store with a 20% off coupon. HAHA!! But only if I stick to my list.
Now is the time to find out if your kids need new coats or new jeans and how many sweaters are too tight? There will be great yard sales coming and fall clothing sales soon so knowing what you need before shopping saves you a ton of money. Make a list and stick to it. Your kids don’t need 20 pairs of pants, no matter how cute they are or how many matching outfits they have. If they need 5 pairs of pants and you already have 3, then put 2 pairs on your list and stick to it.

Done that this week already!!! I pulled out all my kids warmer clothes and know that we do need winter boots and maybe some nice shoes but we are doing well on clothes for now.
As for me, I could use some new shirts but it will have to wait for now.

Lindsey, my OUAC has a frequent shopper card so that for every $10 I spend, they stamp my card. When the card if filled up, It turns into a 20% off coupon. My SIL and I shop at my MIL’s store when we are there so it is filled up now.
Good thing too, since Turkey Butt has only a few pieces for the upcoming season. This is the first time I will have to actually buy most of her clothes. I have been so spoiled.
