Thrifty way to save gas money.
How are the gas prices in your neck of the woods? Mine are averaging $2.89/g for the cheap stuff. I read an article at Frugal Living that gave great advice for saving on gas. One idea that she gave was carpooling. It got me to thinking. As much as I like going to Wal-Mart, HAHA, I think I will pitch this to my girlfriend the next time we are out. We as ladies, you guys are just as guilty, love to socialize. We shop together for clothes and shoes. Why not toilet paper and dishwashing detergent? I probably wouldn’t buy quite as much if I know my girlfriend was going to see my bill and I had to share the trunk with her to tote all my junk home. So why don’t we carpool to the grocery store and Wally World together as well? Try it and see. You drive this week and she can drive next week. Bet you will save more than you think.
