Thrifty Tips from Baby Cheapskate
We’re almost out of diapers. Ugh! I have not seen any diaper sales lately and there certainly haven’t been any good coupons to use. What to do?
As I am pondering where I’m going to shop for diaper deals, I remembered to check out Baby Cheapskate. Each week Angie gives the low down on where to find the cheapest diapers. This week, Angie says you’ll find diaper sales at Kroger, Walgreens, and CVS. Thanks Angie.
Now, if I could just get my stubborn child to use the potty . . .

Another thing– check the clearace rack at Target. I was at our Super Target this weekend and saw that the boxes they had on sale in the past few weeks were marked down to $22 (for 100 size 4’s…not sure how many come in the other sizes). There were Cruisers and Baby Drys on the pallet. If I hadn’t purchased so many when they were having the gift card promotion, I would have grabbed a few more! Oh, and they weren’t by the diapers… they were hidden way in the back of the store between home furnishings and the frozen food section. I kid you not!

We buy our diapers from Costco because we just “assume” it’s the cheapest. I’ve never even bothered to check around. *grin*

Thanks for the link love, Karen! We’re having pretty good luck with the “naked toddler” potty training technique. You don’t go through many PullUps that way. Paper towels, yes. PullUps, no.
I’ll still be keeping up with the diaper sales even after we’re done with them, of course!

I would do the naked thing if we didn’t have carpet. Ugh. I don’t think I could handle him peeing on the carpet all the time.
The thing is, he demanded to be trained at 23 months. He did really well for a while and then got quite rebellious about it. He has done this several times since then. Probably in February or March I’ll concentrate more on it. We’ve had a few busy months here lately. I just bought him some Spiderman underwear and he’s pretty excited about it.
Some ideas on how to save a few bucks here and there.

Best place to get diapers (at least if you live nowhere near a target/cvs/etc.) is Amazon with the cases of Luvs. I got 180 something Size 4s for 34 dollars w/Free Shipping :)
