The Ultimate Blog Party

Janice and Susan of 5 Minutes for Mom are having a blog party this week. If you’d like to participate, all you have to do is write a post about the blog party linking to their site and sign their post using Mr. Linky.
If you don’t have a blog or don’t want to participate in the party, you can still drop by their site to check out all the other blogs that are participating. Currently, there are over 800 blogs participating in the party.
For those of you who don’t know us, we’re the Thrifty Mommies. Thrifty Mommy is written by two friends, Kelly Saunders and Karen Weideman. Kelly has a little girl that is almost 2 and she also has a little boy on the way. I (Karen) have two little ones, ages 3 and 1. Kelly and I try to write about ways to save you time and money, especially money. We hope you will drop back by again for our tips.

Hey all! I’ve been here before, but it’s been a while! How’s it been going. Isn’t that what parties are for, catching up with folks you haven’t seen?
Did you know the lady who runs “life in a shoe” has started a frugal blogroll? I don’t think I’ve seen you guys on it. If you pop on over to my site you’ll see the frugal blogroll under my own blogroll, and it’s got one of those handy “join here” buttons if you guys are interested in joining.

A blog party sounds like so much fun! What do we have to wear? Formal or crazy? I just got a new retro dress that fits a house :)

I’m glad you joined in! I hope you enjoy the party; it’s so HUGE! If others are like me, you should still be getting traffic from it after the party has “officially” ended. I’d like to visit all of the participants, and that will definitely take a while! Have fun.

Welcome everyone! Today we are serving salsa, guacamole, tortilla chips, a veggie tray, fresh strawberries, spinach dip and Hawaiian bread (yum!), chocolate eclair (made by Kelly), cheesecake, and peanut butter chocolate pie. There is also an 80’s mix of music. In another room we have the big screen going with a large selection of romantic comedies to choose from. Because of the beautiful weather, childwatch is provided outside at the playground. Hope you’re having a good time. :)
