Thanks, Karen for a wonderful weekend

So <wink> Karen came up this weekend so we could knock out the beginning of your surprise.  Little did we know it would literally take us 4 days to get it started.  We did and now you are one step closer to fun!  I have to say that I learned some things this weekend about my friendship with Karen that I wanted to share with you.  I hope you all have such a great friend as I do.

• She is as blunt as a needle (I already knew this but it was fun)
• She is a cheap they come (already knew this too!)
• She loves to cook.  I tried to take her out to eat as a treat but I think it just frustrated her.  Sorry kiddo!
•  She really needed time to herself.  We as primary parents should take a day or two away from everyone every once in a while.  We deserve it and our families appreciate us more when they have to fend for themselves.
• I needed parenting advice evidently.
• Man she can type!
• I get distracted easily but she can’t stay off her email or Thrifty Mommy for more than 30 minutes HAHA!!
• We can accomplish just about anything when we put our minds to it!

I had a great time, Karen.  Thank you for all you did this weekend.  BTW … My kitchen is still clean and vinegared.  DH fell asleep early!
