Spring cleaning without the kids works wonders
It’s starting to feel a lot like spring here in the South and I am LOVING it! So what does that mean for us thrifty mommies out there? Spring Cleaning! So before you get spring fever and get out of the mood, help yourself clean your home faster and sort through those toys. The trick to it is to get the hubby to take the kids to the park or out to eat or something for a couple of hours. That way, the kids won’t even notice most of the toys that they don’t play with are gone. That will save you time and a headache. If you are really thrifty and love yard sales, start getting your piles together because yard sale season is soon to be upon us.
Also, start going through your summer clothes and figure out what you need for the kids. That way, you know specific things to look for when you get your bargain fix at the yard sales this spring.
