It Pays To Compare Prices
The day after Thanksgiving I went out shopping and I was so excited to find Gilmore Girls season dvds for $15 at Target. I bought the first 5 seasons for $75. Considering they were regularly $44.99, I got a really good buy.
Last week I was in Wal-Mart and saw the 6th season of Gilmore Girls for $24.99. I was excited to see it for that price. I figured the prices were dropping. I decided to wait and get it at Target because I had a gift card. I went to Target and was floored to see the dvds for $44.99!!!!! Needless to say, I went back to Wal-Mart and bought them for $24.99, with a savings of $20.
Target has their set marked up nearly 100% more than Wal-Mart. Sometimes is really pays to compare prices. This time it saved me $20. Unbelievable!

I think I just saw that DVD set at Borders last night for $59.99 — so you did get a super great deal!

I know, it’s great! And I checked at a different Wal-Mart (just to see if it was an error) and it was the same price at the other Wal-Mart.
