I Love Coupons!

Yesterday, I went to the grocery store. I used The Grocery Game so that I could save the most money. I spent $68 and saved $53. Not great, but pretty good considering I really didn’t go grocery shopping last week and part of that $68 was a month’s supply of diapers.
Today, I went Christmas shopping. Ugh! I have to confess that I did not want to go shopping, but I needed to find something for my mom. Four hours later, I had only found one thing for her. See, aren’t cash and gift cards the way to go?
I did do well at JCPenney. I am on their mailing list and they sent me a $10 coupon off a $25 purchase. I got my mom a sweater and my son a pair of Sketchers. The sweater was on sale 50% off and the shoes were on clearance for $7.99. I ended up getting both for $15! Pretty cool, huh?
Have you had any luck with coupons or great savings?

I think you still did great! I’m not nearly as good at the grocery store as I am in CVS or Walgreens - I just run out of patience trying to figure it all out. But I’m new to all this so hopefully I’ll get better at it!

I received a 10.00 off the purchase of 10.00 from JC Penney, so I got some earrings and a jewelry box on sale for my niece (30.00 worth of stuff) for just 3.79!
I also found a great service that sends me over 200 clipped manuf. coupons a month for just a few dollars, so I have been doing great at the grocery store!

I love coupons, to me they are like cash, if I use the items and they are on sale and I have a coupon, I am a happy person. I saw on person named Lindley that has a coupon service for a very minimal price is there any way I can get the name or address of that place???

Sure, the name of the website is Saving Times (http://www.savingtimes.com). Go to the Order Packets section to see all the options. I have a deal with her going on my website’s More Money-Saving Tips section where you can use the code SAVE50 and email orders to her to get 50% off your first order! Tell Angie that Lindley from My Super Saving sent ya!
You will save so much time not having to clip and get a great variety of coupons, with a lot that were not in the Sunday paper!
Happy Shopping!
