Huge Sale at Lowe’s Foods
There is a huge 10 for $10 sale going on at Lowe’s Foods. Here are a few of the things on sale 10 for $10:
- Sundia fruit cups
- tropical mangoes
- bagged iceburg lettuce
- bagged baby carrots
- fresh mushrooms
- French bread
- hot dogs
- 2 liter Pepsi products
- Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa mix
- Banquet dinners
- Green Giant frozen vegetables
- Pillsbury Grands biscuits
- Lowe’s Foods dinners
- Lowe’s Foods canned fruit
- Totino’s pizza rolls
There are also some buy 1 get 1 free deals. And one thing I love about Lowe’s Foods is that if something is BOGO, you don’t have to buy 2.

I just wanted to let you know about a great way to use those items on sale. I would recommend visiting http://lowesfoods.mybaby.com/Default.aspx. You can find “sneaky chef” recipes that give instructions on how to sneak healthy food into your children’s food. The recipes taste delicious too!

I love LF! If you haven’t had a chance to go to Lowes this week, you can also combine these sales with coupons and a few of those items will cost pennies or free if your store doubles everyday (which mine does).
Swiss Miss (free after .50 cpn doubled)
Smithfield Bacon (.50 after .75 cpn doubled)
Green Giant frozen veggies (.50 ea after .25/1 or .50/2 doubled)
Totinos Pizza Rolls (.20 after .40 cpn doubled)
Happy Shopping and thanks for a fun blog, Karen!

Bryan: Thanks for the tip.
Frances: I’m glad you’re enjoying Thrifty Mommy.
I confess that I haven’t done The Grocery Game in about 5 weeks. There were a few weeks that the newspaper didn’t have any coupons.
I guess my devotion to coupons comes in spurts. I faithfully use The Grocery Game for a few months and we get a big stockpile of groceries. Then I just kind of buy here and there as things get really cheap. Then I’ll use TGG again for a few months. It’s time to start back up. Two weeks ago I only spent about $16 on groceries. To my knowledge, last week I spent about $25. There are some great sales this week, so I think it’s time to spend about $80 and stock up again. :)
