Giveaway 4: Towel Spa

by Karen on April 21st, 2008

Alright everyone.  Here’s another awesome giveaway!  I’ll admit, I’m a little jealous of this one and I’d like to keep it for myself.   :)

towel spa giveawayOur 4th giveaway is a Towel Spa!  Towel Spa quickly warms towels, bathrobes, gloves, mittens, hats, blankets, socks, and so much more.  Can you imagine how great it would be to step out of the shower and have a warm towel?  Before going outside, you could warm your gloves.  If you’re like me, then your husband keeps the a/c a bit too cool in the summer.  A nice and toasty blanket sure would help to keep warm!

The portable towel warmer is roomy enough to thoroughly heat two towels or one large bath sheet in just minutes, but compact enough to not take up too much bathroom space.  The unit automatically shuts off for safety.

Towel Spa retails for $79.95 and is available at Brookstone and Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

To enter this contest, all you need to do is leave a comment at this post between now and Friday, April 25th.  This is not mandatory, but I’d like for you to tell why you’d like to have this product.  The winner will be contacted via email, so please be sure you leave a valid email address.  Please leave your email address in the box under your name instead of in the comment section.  Due to shipping costs, this giveaway is open to US and Canadian addresses only.

There are other giveaways this week at Thrifty Mommy.  We’re giving away a purse made from recycled plastic bags, some homemade skin products made from honey, a Cooking Light Complete Cookbook, and some other things will be posted soon.

Please check out my other giveaways at A Healthy Balance and Little Fun; Little Learning.

Good luck!

    Ooh… warm towels? Warm blankets?

I don’t have a dryer right now, so I can’t just go toss my blanket in when I’m cold (although… the cold part of the year is now behind us). And that’d be awesome after swimming, to have a warm towel…

Oh, I suppose I’d also use it to warm up my baby girl’s towel after bathtime and swimming, too. I might even share with my husband…

Oh my! I would love to have this towel warmer esp. for my 2 toddlers. Our winter temps plummet to 40 degrees below zero. Even with our heat turned up to 70 and with a space heater turned on, it’s still very cold esp. when you get out of the shower…..brrrrrrrr!

  • Greenstylemom
    Apr 21, 2008 at 5:09 pm

The reasons I would love to win the towel spa are too many to name. We keep our house pretty cold in the winter. I’d love to step out of the shower and wrap up in a warm towel! I’d also warm up socks before bed when my toes are always cold. I bet it warm my toes better than my husband’s legs! LOL

  • Trish

Wow…I would love to be able to give this to my husband. He hates a drafty cold bathroom more than anything in the world…we just had to move into my parents house for a while and they don’t even have a ceiling in their bathroom, so after a cold miserable show, a nice warm towel would be marvelous!

  • Laura

What a cool gadget! This would definitely be nice to have, since we have started to keep the thermostat lower in the winter to save $ and conserve energy. I bet this unit uses much less energy than our heating system and would keep all our things toasty warm without worrying about the environment! Thanks!

  • Amy Barnes

I have a two-year-old and a six-year-old. I rarely get a shower alone or without someone staring at me, banging on the glass, digging things out of the linen closet, or running down the hallway soaking wet without a towel. It would be fantastic to have a warm towel at least to balance out the madness.

  • Becca

    Apr 22, 2008 at 12:16 pm

Hey, that’s awesome! I would like to win it because I have a perpetual air conditioning INSIDE MY BODY, which of course means that I freeze all the time. Hoodies are my best friends. Aside from that the shower is where I freeze the most. You would think that all of the time spent in the hot shower would warm me up enough to stay warm while I dry off, but no. The second the hot water stops my internal freezer starts.

We live in Colorado, and the winter morning can be bitter cold. I have an old truck and my little babies (1 is 15 months, and the other is 15 weeks old), go to their “grandmoms” in the mornings for childcare. If I could heat up their blankets, along with the gloves of my older kids, I’d be so happy, and feel like an amazing mom.

I know they would be cozy before leaving for school!
