Everybody knows Coupons are the way to go!

by kellys on February 4th, 2006

Everybody knows that coupons are a huge money saver.  That is, if you can get the ones you use and not all the rest.  And then you have to spend your time cutting out all those tiny little squares.  Any what if you need a coupon for a certain product and can’t find it that week.  Or if you want more than one of that particular coupon but you can only find one.  Think it’s not worth it now?

Well, do I have a solution for you!  I was never really good at cutting coupons, even though I knew the huge benefits.  Now I don’t have to.  Thanks to Rachel and The Coupon Clippers, I have found the ultimate solution.  These ladies have done all the work for you.  All you have to do is pick the coupons you want and then check out.  Most coupons are less than $.10.  My first response was that I wasn’t going to spend money on coupons that I could get for free.  But then I would have to take the time to look through all the ads, and only get 3-4 coupons that I could use.  And I still had to pay around $1 for my Sunday paper anyway.  At The Coupon Clippers, I pick the ones I want and communicate with the owner about the ones I can’t find.  She is very helpful.  I can also get as many as I want of any item.  So I might spend $3-4 getting all the coupons I can use for my next trip to the store, but I saved over an hour by not having to clip and sort.  I LOVE it!

For instance, they have Pampers coupons up now that I could get as many as I wanted.  That was great because they are on sale at Wal-Mart and I got an additional $1 off the sale price.  My Pampers were cheaper than I have ever paid for them and I got more than one pack.  I saved all the way around.  This method works great for me because I can get exactly what I want, how ever many I want, and not spend any time with scissors out.  And if you have little ones around, you know what a relief that is.

Check out their website.  I bet you will find coupons for things you never thought you would get but really need.  And for me, it allows me to save money when I would never take the time to cut regular coupons out.  Maybe I am just too lazy.  Now I can be frugal with my time and money at the same time.  Gotta love that!

    Nice site-I’m enjoying browsing around.

Coupons only save you money if you are brand loyal. I find that most of the time I can beat the prices (and time) of dealing with coupons by shopping someplace where things are cheaper to begin with. Save-a-lot and Aldi’s might not have the same glitz as some of the big supermarkets, but their stuff is SO much cheaper. Their regular price on canned goods is $.33 each-I usually can’t beat that with a “buy 10 get X off” Del Monte veggie coupon etc.

Since my memory is shot, I have a pricebook where I keep track of the best prices per unit at the stores I shop at-that way I know for sure if I am getting the best price.

Since I also don’t get the paper anymore, I go online to check out the grocery store fliers to see what is on sale. Most major grocery stores have them online now (although sometimes you have to have a store card to log in)
