Easy Tater Tot Casserole
I’m all for a super easy dinner. Here’s one that I tried last week. It was a hit. Everyone wanted seconds and there was hardly any left.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb bag tater tots
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- milk
Brown ground beef, drain well, place in bottom of casserole dish. Place tater tots on top of ground beef. In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup and a can size amount of milk. Evenly pour the milk and soup mixture over the casserole. Bake about 45 minutes on 350 until the tots are brown.
I doubled the recipe by using 1 lb ground turkey and 1 lb ground hamburger. No one noticed the difference. I also used the family size can of cream of mushroom soup and the large bag of tater tots.
You could also add some well drained vegetables and cheese. To cut out some fat or calories, you could use the reduced fat or Healthy Choice cream of mushroom soup and skim milk.
Let me know how it turns out. Enjoy!

I stumbled onto a tater tot casserole recipe very similar to this one online about a year ago. It’s a huge hit with the kids and adults (just ask my husband and daughter! haha) It turns out really tasty!
