Diaper Champ vs Diaper Genie
I try not to exclude anyone in a post. However, I want to state upfront that this is for expecting and new mothers for the most part. I have tried both the Diaper Genie and Diaper Champ. On a frugal note, I recommend the Diaper Champ for multiple reasons. The biggest reason is that I can use any kind of trash bags I want. That means that whatever is on sale works for me. Lately I have been using the Glad trash bags with deodorizers. Both have a slight odor if you don’t change the bags often enough. But I am not locked into a certain replacement. Let me just state that either one will do the trick. I just don’t want to be forced to pay a set price for something that usually doesn’t go on sale.

Occasionally we have been able to find Diaper Genie refills on sale at Target. Usually 20-25% off.

I have to agree that I like the Diaper Champs versatility opposed to the Diaper Genie II. I hated buying the replacement cartriges when I get enough plastic bags from the grocery store as it is and I can recycle them by placing them in the Diaper Champ and I am NOT spending EXTRA needed money!
