Anybody want to give the perfect gift for your girlfriend this year but can’t come up with anything? Me too. So here are some gifts under $10 that I think are winners with any friend.

1. Do you have a fave thing you cook that your girlfriend likes? Take her that for Christmas
2. Free babysitting for a holiday party
3. Free babysitting for your friend to do her shopping.
4. Toy swap. Do you and your friend have an old toy that your kids don’t play with as much any more? Swap them and let that be a gift for the kids.
5. Gift certificates to the local coffee shop and a guaranteed girl’s morning out.
6. I always bake an eclaire cake or Pecan Praline Crunch to give away.
7. Clothes swap. Do you have a fave piece of clothing that your friend likes? Give it to her for Christmas and get you something to replace it when everything goes on sale after the holidays.
8. I have been more than willing to give someone my card to go grocery shopping for me when I didn’t feel good. Offer to go shopping for your friend if they have been ill.
9. If you like to clean (come see me, please), give a free house cleaning coupon. I would love one of those.
10. My local credit union gives out discount movie tickets. These are usually cheaper than regular movie tickets and your friend might enjoy a night out with the hubby.

Your girlfriends are your friends because they like who you are, not because they want something from you. So celebrate your thrifty nature and give them something they really want anyway.
