Buy it when it is on sale … don’t wait

Sometimes the best way to be thrifty is to be decisive. For instance, I buy items for my church that are for new mommies. I always include the baby bugs from Infantino. They were on sale 2 wks ago and I knew I should have picked them up then. Now that I am in full shop mode and behind schedule, they are off sale. DARN IT!!!!!!!
The moral of the story … if you know you use something and it is on sale, get it! Swipe it up even if you don’t need it right now. Because you will need it again eventually and you will save money by getting it on sale when you don’t need it than having to buy it at full price when you do need it. Now I have to go and kick myself again for not picking it up when I knew it was on sale for $3 off each.

Don’t you hate when you didn’t stock up on toilet paper and then you absolutely have to go buy it full price? Uggh.
I’ve found that a two month supply of most household products is sufficient. Most products seem to go on sale at least that often.
ShopLocal.com is a good site for finding out what’s on sale in your area.

I try to get a few months worth too. I get my toilet paper, laundry detergent, soap, and such while it’s on sale. I can’t seem to find the Downy Free & Clean on sale very often, and when I do there’s not much savings.

I buy things on sale and store them for later. My problem is that I always forget I have them and end up buying something else! LOL!
