Birkenstocks on sale.

Everybody knows that I wear a children’s size 2.5 shoe.  I catch a lot of grief for it and that is ok.  Besides, I like to pick on my friends about getting to shop at the “big girls” shoe stores.  So I found it ironic that I wandered into the local Birkenstock store today and found some really cute sandals on sale.  It’s not like I could wear them.  But they were regularly $200? (I can’t remember the exact amount) and now they are on sale for $90.  I count that as a great sale.  They had a cool little pink pair and a funky psychedelic color.  I admittedly tried to find them on the web but couldn’t.  The moral of the story is that if you like Birk’s, I would suggest going to a brick and mortar store and check out the sales.  You might be able to find a pretty good deal.

And if you do, let me know without rubbing it in that you get to wear “big girl’ sandals.  HAHA!
