Back from Another Trip
I told you a few weeks ago just how crazy my life has been lately. My latest trip was this weekend. We took the youth from church to winter camp in Pigeon Forge. This was our third year at the camp and as usual, we had a great time. Here are some highlights from the trip.

Here’s a picture of my hubby and me.

This event happened on the first night we were there. It was a around midnight and about 15-20 degrees outside. Some of our group took The Polar Bear Plunge. This means they jumped into a non-heated pool. Yep. Crazy, huh? My husband was part of this insane activity.

Here’s a big inflatable slide they had. The different churches at the camp competed each day in some sort of event. One person was supposed to slide down while another person threw a ball at them. The person sliding was to catch the ball and throw the ball into a large trash can.

Here’s one of the guys from the band Overflow. The girls were drueling over him. lol I didn’t realize how popular Overflow was until I googled them today and found a review at Christianity Today.

Tom, the lead singer from Overflow, jumped into the group. Brave. Very brave.

Here’s the band Chasen. We’ve known them for years. We first met them at summer camp when they were leading worship. They’ve come a long way. Their cd will be sold in Wal-Mart soon. Pretty cool.

Here’s a picture of Aaron, the drummer for Chasen. He didn’t get in the other pics. The girls think he’s dreamy too.
Other things to mention:
Loud and Clear did some funny and touching dramas. Jeremy Kingsley was funny, humble, and did an awesome job speaking. Eleventh Hour won a battle of the bands contest in SC and won the spot to perform at camp.
At the rec center we had a great time bowling, swimming, playing basketball, playing fooseball, and just having a great time.
It was a great time to build relationships with the youth in our group and meet some new people!!!
