5 minute room rescue
Thanks to Flylady, I am reminded of the 5 minute room rescue. This is where you set your timer for 5 minutes and do a quick clean up. Don’t get the duster out. Just put things away and tidy up. Part of Thrifty Mommy’s original plan was to save you time AND money. This is a great way to keep a tidy house without spending hours. 5 minutes a day in 3 rooms will do a world of good.
So get that timer out and go tidy up a room today! It’s only 5 minutes. I put Little Man in the play yard (my other name for it isn’t very nice) and let him fuss for a few minutes while I do my 5 minute room rescue. How about you?

Hubby took Cuddlebug out with him to run some errands. I am home alone! Yeehaaa! I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I don’t get to be alone very often.

You know me … I would take a nap
But then again, I am still getting up every 3-4 hours.

i can’t even fathom the idea of being alone…i would probably just sit there the entire time listening to the silence. i’m now up to 9 foster children ages 9 and under…6 of them are under 4yrs. (4,3,3,3,10months and 4 weeks). talk about sleep deprevation…lol. seriously, i would probably use the time to fine tune structure/organization/schedule….and weed out some more of the toys while no little skittles are here to throw them back in the toybox as i take them out.
