Jonni McCoy of Miserly Moms helps us understand frugal living.
Both Jonni McCoy, author of Miserly Moms, and her DH worked outside the home. Sounds like most of us. But, like me, Jonni began to feel like she was spending too much time away from home and kids. Let me say something up front. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be a working parent or having to be a working parent. I understand and am a part timer myself. But sometimes, we as parents want to stay at home. I long to be a full time stay-at-home mom but right now, we just can’t afford it. My eating out tendencies don’t help the mission either. But I digress. Back to Jonni. Jonnie and her DH decided that they wanted Jonni to stay home. She wasn’t a frugal mom to begin with but had to learn.
